Lego City is seeing a real resurgence in recent years, with sets using far more traditional brick shapes and sizes, and not so many custom pieces. This means that there is more building to do, and more variations of a set that can be made.

The Airport set is no different. It includes a terminal building, with revolving doors and ticket desk; a security checkpoint with X-ray machine, and a café / lounge. The Control Tower overlooks the runway where the plane and baggage-cart go about their business.

This is quite a big set (703 pieces) and comes with 5 minifigures (passenger, pilot, flight attendant, steward and service man). The plane measures 50cm long and 17cm tall. The terminal building is 25cm long and 25cm tall.
